I'm so happy you're here

I am offering free photo sessions for a photo project that has been laid upon my heart to do. This is something that I have been praying about since July. Thus, the “Love Your Neighbor Project” was born.

I started photography in 2013, and instantly fell in love with it. I did portrait sessions until 2021, but then took time off because life got so busy and I needed to fully focus on family. I continued with landscape, nature, and personal family photos during my time away.

I now want to use my gift of photography to hopefully spread love, joy, and kindness.

In a world full of negativity, there is still good out there. My mission is to hear and document stories from other people and capture 2-5 casual photos of them. These stories and photos will be posted on my social media. Every photo tells a story. You never know what your neighbor is going through. These stories can be anything you want to share. Maybe you are battling an illness, just got engaged, celebrating an anniversary, trying to get through a stressful event, celebrating a milestone, have your own business that you are proud of, or maybe your dog is your best friend and you just want to share that with the world. This idea came to me while in the midst of battling my own illness. I was looking for something to bring joy to myself again, and to bring joy to others. I hope that whoever I photograph will look at their photo with so much joy that a beautiful moment in their life was captured, or maybe it’ll be a photograph they will look back on in the future and say “I made it through that hard time.” I pray that this project blossoms into something beautiful.

*I am also now extending this project to help capture photos for non-profit organizations that they can use to help support their mission.

*I also offer free family photo sessions to families experiencing a loss or terminal diagnosis (including pets). I would like to offer you and your family photos that you can cherish for a lifetime. Sessions will take place in the northern Dayton, Ohio area.

The details for the "share your story" sessions:

-Session will take place in northern Dayton, Ohio area. Location will be discussed when booking. Scheduling will vary depending on demand for this session. They will be short, 10-15 minutes, and casual. Come as you are.

-You will be required to sign a model release before I take your photo. This will give me permission to publicly post your photos and story.

-You will get 2-5 photos, edited. Turn around time will vary depending on the demand for these sessions.
